Sergey does it again, he knocks his opponent out in cold blood. Kovalev scored a 4th round KO against the undefeated Wales-native, Nathan Cleverly, although the bout was initially waived off at the end of the 3rd round by the crooked ref, it just made things easier for Kovalev to finish him off in the opening of the next round. In all honesty, his punches do not look that devastating but the results are dire. Now the next challenge he will most likely face is Bernard Hopkins, where I figure he will be the favorite and will also come out victorious, so is Sergey Kovalev the best light heavyweighter on the planet? I think so, but that’s not to say that fighters like Adonis Stevenson, Chad Dawson, and Tavoris Cloud won’t give him trouble, he will struggle for sure, but in the end I think it will be unanimous, Sergey Kovalev will be “The Greatest Light Heavyweight Champion of Our Generation.” Let’s just hope that at some point in his career he decides to drop down in weight and pound the everliving ish out of Andre Ward in Oakland, for shits and gigs.
